CNC Programmer
Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
£13.00 - £13.85 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced CNC programmer, setter and operator for our client in North Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading high quality manufacturers for engineering and tooling equipment.
The right candidate will be versatile and have completed an apprenticeship in CNC machining and be able to programme and set with confidence to produce high-quality, bespoke metal products from specifications and technical drawings. With a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with CNC cutting and grinding, this is a role where attention to detail is essential. Counterbalance experience is also essential.
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship-level qualification in CNC machining
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Setter
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and use them to set machines
- Experience quality inspecting and a keen eye for detail
- Counterbalance experience essential, Overhead Crane training desirable
