Commercial Director H&B&Me

As part of this journey, we're looking for a visionary Commercial Director to lead our efforts in scaling the H&B&Me brand to achieve maximum customer and commercial impact.

The Role:

The Purpose of the Role: The Commercial Director will be a strategic but hands-on leaderwho can blend strategic vision,commercial acumen and marketing excellence to build the brand of H&B&Me, andfind the paths to scale. The Commercial Director will lead multidisciplinary teams across marketing, customer relations,sales and operations, to drive both B2C and B2B growth channels. They will develop the commercial plan and roadmap, drive B2C and B2B user acquisition, engagement, and retention. They will also be a keymember of the H&B&Mesenior leadership team, sharing collective accountability for the overall performance of H&B&Me.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to senior leadership discussions, develop and execute a commercial strategy, drive the commercial planning process, and foster a culture of excellence.
  • B2C and B2B Commercial Plan and Execution: Identify and scale growth channels, oversee execution to meet revenue goals, leverage customer base for acquisition, support international expansion, manage subscriptions, optimize marketing campaigns, and ensure compliance.
  • CRM & Communications: Manage the communication strategy across all touchpoints, collaborate to create integrated marketing plans, and develop a framework to engage business customers.
  • Brand: Refine and manage the brand, provide guidance to the Head of Brand & Content, oversee campaign content, and drive brand activation initiatives.
  • Operations: Lead the operations team, scale activities to meet targets, ensure contractual SLAs are met, manage third-party partners, and oversee customer care relations.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, provide strategic guidance, drive team culture, and empower the team for success.

Location: This role is based in London, and is required to travel to our Nuneaton Hub and occasionally to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.

Key Requirements:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing a commercial plan in an early-stage fast-paced environment, with continuous optimisation
  • Can demonstrate success with B2C and B2B scaling
  • Proven experience in managing subscription-based business models.
  • International exposure and awareness of wider health and wellness market trends
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels and giving clear direction
  • Experience in healthcare or a regulated environment is highly beneficial.
