As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time, whilst working closely with key stakeholders within the business (HR, Finance etc.) to ensure compliance is adhered to and that reporting is carried out.

Description

  • Deliver payrolls: accurately, timely and in line with compliance
  • Responsible for submissions to HMRC (monthly and weekly RTI files)
  • Assist the wider payroll team with any query resolution, process changes and system issues
  • Audit completion for key data
  • Update the team with changes to legislation, tax, statutory payments, NI etc.
  • Work closely with numerous key stakeholders - process changes and any project kick offs
  • Create a supportive and friendly working environment

Profile

The successful Payroll Team Leader...

  • Strong track record of a senior payroll position and/or team responsibility within a medium-large organisation (2,000 employees and above ideally)
  • Excellent knowledge of multiple systems (both Payroll and HR platforms)
  • Carry the ability to support, maintain and motivate the team
  • Good attention to detail and confident in Excel abilities
  • Adaptable and demonstrate strong organisational skills
  • Happy to commute to Reading

Job Offer

Payroll Team Leader...

  • Salary: Ranging from £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on interview performance and previous exposure
  • Hybrid Working - 2x per week in Reading office
  • 37.5 hours per week
