Elevate Everywhere Ltd is one of the UK's market leaders in delivering centralised community energy projects. As a result of our continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth in all business sectors; as such we have an exceptional opportunity for an Operations Manager based in the London area. We are looking for someone to manage the operations of the Energy Centres and undertake Site Inspections and Reactive Repairs in accordance with site procedures, rules and line management instructions.

Elevate Everywhere Ltd is at the forefront of delivering centralised efficient low carbon energy solutions across public / private residential, retail, and commercial sectors throughout the UK. We operate in a rapidly expanding vibrant market for Heat and Power solutions. We design, operate, and maintain de-centralised energy centres.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Managing Associate Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all Quality Management and Compliance Documentation is correct and complete for each site.
  • Provide technical assistance whilst fulfilling and meeting both Quality Standards and HSE Objectives.
  • Closely manage customer HSE objectives and Quality Standards.
  • Complete internal performance management general reporting.
  • Make effective recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Adopt Elevate Everywhere Ltd HSE Policies, Procedures and Objectives, and ensure they are achieved.
  • Ensure that Statutory and Mandatory Inspections are satisfactorily carried out and documented in line with the Company's Management System.
  • Diligently and accurately maintain, submit relevant documentation and records as required, and maintain ISO Accreditation Company Standards.
  • Preparing Requisitions on planned/reactive works through to authorisation, working with the service team.
  • Site visits to Energy Centres; including risk management, H&S assessments, run training with engineers and keeping them presentable.
  • Residential works; Supporting the service team from time to time.
  • Be versatile to support all Department works.

You will also be required to support the callout / standby rota and a flexible approach to working practices and hours is essential.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will be well presented, organised and polite. This is a client & customer facing role, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will have a high level of technical knowledge and expertise of District Heat networks. It will also be an advantage to have:

  • Mechanical Biased with Electrical knowledge in a similar environment; with comprehensive understanding of current industry practices and relevant legislation.
  • Understanding the cause and effects of decentralised heating networks and to implement changes to ensure efficient use on demand that improves the efficiency of the District Network operations.
  • Heating systems, Energy Centre processes and supporting distribution systems.
  • Preparing Method statements, Risk, COSHH Assessments, and Permits to Work.
  • Health & Safety management

The following Skills and Expertise will be advantageous:

  • Served a recognised apprenticeship and/or be qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Plumbing/HVAC with Electrical qualifications and registered to the appropriate body as required for the role.
  • Managing safely or equivalent & NEBOSH
  • Electrical qualification to the latest Edition of BS 7671 that includes installing or modifying current electrical controls.
  • Hold current CSCS card.
