Organisation: Westmorland and Furness Council Location: Windermere Ferry, Bowness, Windermere Pay Rate: £16.83 per hour
Shift Details:
- Morning Shift: 06:00 to 14:10
- Afternoon Shift: 13:50 to 22:30
- Part-time, as and when required
Responsibilities:
- Assist the first mate with the loading of vehicles.
- Take payments from foot passengers and vehicles using a card payment machine.
- Represent the council with a polite and considerate demeanour.
Requirements:
- Ability to stay on your feet for the entire shift (excluding breaks).
- Customer service experience (Retail/Hospitality ect.)
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
All necessary PPE and training will be provided. The ferry operates 7 days a week, so flexibility is essential.
