Role Overview:

As a Health and Social Care Teacher in Upminster, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in Health and Social Care at BTEC level. You will play a crucial role in helping students develop their understanding of the health and social care sector and preparing them for further education or careers in this field. This position requires a dynamic and knowledgeable educator with a background in health and social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to students at BTEC level.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and the latest educational standards.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth and understanding.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field, or experience teaching Health and Social Care at BTEC level.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Teacher, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
