Our client who is delivering in the Anglian Water framework is currently hiring for a civil design engineer who is infrastructure background on a contract basis.
This is a very exciting part of their asset management period yet, with AMP 7 closing and AMP 8 secured.
Location: Peterborough / Hybrid
Engagement: Inside of IR35 contract
Key role:
- To provide Civil engineering technical review.
- Pipeline engineering technical review.
- Both clean water and water recycling infrastructure projects.
- Technical reviews and design support on multiple schemes.
- Ensure design are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards.
- Meeting safety and technical standards
- Understanding of pipe materials and applications
- Understanding of construction team interface and coordination
- Design of sewage systems, trunk water mains & pressurised and gravity sewage systems.
- General civil and hydraulic design
- Experience in pumping stations
