Treasury Officer
Temporary Role - potential to become permanent
Location: Liverpool
Accountable Recruitment are recruiting for a Treasury Officer for a company in the education sector based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be immediately available and have experience working in a similar role.
Salary/benefits:
- Salary up to £40,000
- Hybrid working (3 days in, 2 home)
- Based out of Liverpool City Centre

Job Duties:
- Manage the corporate purchasing card system and act as the primary point of contact for related queries.
- Oversee treasury operations, including monitoring cash balances and making recommendations on cash/currency management.
- Liaise with external providers for foreign exchange and manage associated transactions.
- Perform routine treasury accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support process improvements and advise on financial procedures across the organisation.

Ideal Experience:
- Proven experience in treasury management
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial managers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
