HR Project Manager

£45,000-£55,000

Nottingham - Hybrid, 1-2 days on site

12 month FTC

Full time or Part time

Are you an established HR Project Manager that can demonstrate leading on significant operational change across a complex, large-scale workforce?

Have you sat within a HR function and guided stakeholders through projects, engaging them and communicating with them every step of the way to instil confidence in the changes you are looking to deliver?

I am supporting a matrix organisation in Nottingham to source a HR Project Manager. This role will be on a 12 month FTC basis, supporting a variety of projects from changes to T&Cs, Contractual changes, Reward change and other ad-hoc HR related projects. You will be working closely with a wider HR Project team and separate Organisational Development team. This role will specifically be delivering on operational HR organisation change, not talent and development projects.

Due to the matrix nature of the business, the successful candidate will need to be an expert influencer and communicator. You must be able to engage senior stakeholders with the change you are looking to make, instil confidence and excitement about the business impact it will have. You must truly understand the importance of communication and be empathetic towards stakeholders who may be nervous about the project.

This role is not suitable for a Project Manager that doesn't have any HR experience. Due to the relationships and complexity of the HR change projects, you must have some sort of experience delivering on large scale operational change from a HR perspective, as well as working to project management methodologies. The successful candidate does not need to be prince2 or lean six sigma qualified, but they must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of working to similar project management methodologies.

So, what's the role?

  • Leading on large scale operational HR change across a matrix organisation
  • Influence, engage and coach senior stakeholders through change processes
  • Instil confidence in senior stakeholders that the project is well managed
  • Utilise project methodologies and processes to plan projects
  • Spend 1-2 days per week on site with your stakeholders to build relationships to better support the change processes
  • Collaborate with a wider HR project management team and Organisational Development team

So, if you've got demonstrable experience in all of the above and are available to start your next HR Project Manager role within the next 1-4 weeks, please apply now!
