Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dynamic and caring Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School in the Heaton Chapel area of Stockport.
Position Details:
- Role: Teaching Assistant (Early Years)
- Location: Heaton Chapel, Stockport
- Days: Every Monday and Tuesday
- Start Date: September
- Pay Rate: £85 to £90 per day
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant in the Early Years department, you will be instrumental in nurturing and supporting the youngest students in their educational journey. Your role will involve:
- Assisting the class teacher in creating a vibrant and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Providing care and supervision during playtime and other activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
