Production Coordinator

- Salary: £27,500 - £33,000 Depending on Experience
We are seeking a Production Coordinator with a passion for the Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Nuclear, and Telecommunications industries. This role is ideal for someone who is computer literate, flexible, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
Day to Day of the role:
- Manage customer purchase orders daily and ensure timely processing.
- Raise contract review documents and oversee the purchasing of raw materials.
- Distribute new route cards to relevant departments and assist with planning works capacity in collaboration with the machine shop manager.
- Handle general enquiries from the workshop and provide support with various office duties.
- Maintain direct communication with customers and suppliers, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Receive comprehensive training and contribute to the team by being adaptable and proactive.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good computer literacy and ability to navigate relevant software.
- Independent work ethic with the capacity to function effectively in a team setting.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist with a range of office duties.
- Strong communication skills for dealing directly with customers and suppliers.
- Organisational skills for managing purchase orders and materials procurement.
