Job Description:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, complaints, and requests, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our service delivery. This role requires flexibility, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own individual enquiries, complaints, and customer requests.
  • Work flexibly across the hours.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of customer access to quality, cost-effective services.
  • Promote a positive image of the company.
  • Assist with delivering commitment to Best Value and customer service.
  • Become proficient in all aspects of services delivered (full training provided).
  • Effectively use relevant ICT systems and assist in the creation, development, and maintenance of records, files, and statistical information.
  • Provide accessible and comprehensive information and advice to customers on all services.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and codes of working practice that enhance service delivery quality.
  • Carry out administrative duties related to customer contact, including demonstrating systems to visitors when required.
  • Assist the Team Manager in developing new staff and trainees through mentoring, job shadowing, and acting as a 'champion'.
  • Ensure all work functions and line management responsibilities comply with Health and Safety legislation and relevant codes of practice.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across various shifts.
  • Proficiency in using ICT systems (training will be provided).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
