Role OverviewThis Senior Account Manager will lead client relationships and campaigns with a focus on Scottish media relations. Ideal for a candidate experienced with financial or professional services brands, this role offers significant growth opportunities within a skilled team of experts in research, analytics, social media strategy, and creative.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Act as the main contact, fostering strong client relationships and leading meetings.
- Campaign Management: Ensure timely delivery of client programmes, meeting KPIs and maintaining quality.
- Media Relations: Build relationships with Scottish media, craft creative story angles, and mentor junior staff.
- Content & Quality Control: Develop and review content across channels, providing feedback to align with client goals.
- Innovation & Crisis Management: Generate fresh ideas, manage issues proactively, and draft reactive content as needed.
- Growth & Strategy: Support new business proposals and identify opportunities within existing accounts.
- Team & Culture: Mentor team members, support agency culture, and participate in team initiatives and social events.
- Budget Management: Oversee budgets and resources, offering proactive solutions to optimise execution.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven PR account management experience, ideally in financial or professional services.
- Expertise in media relations, content strategy, and client consultancy.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
