Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and confident Full-Time Year 5 Teacher to join our team starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a challenging Year 5 class, ensuring that each student receives the support and encouragement they need to succeed. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Establish and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, implementing strategies to support a challenging Year 5 class.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate with parents and carers to support student development and address any concerns.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching within a Year 5 class or similar age group.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, particularly in a challenging class.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
