In this role, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining VFD drives and commercial industrial inverter drives. Additionally, the engineer will perform electrical wiring, panel building, and electro-mechanical work, ensuring top-quality service and support for customers.
The ideal Field Service Engineer is a skilled technician with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining VFD drives and industrial inverter drives. They possess strong electrical wiring and panel building skills, and excel in providing exceptional customer service onsite.
The Role:
- Service/commissioning of ABB Drives & Variable Frequency Drives
- Training on PLC Logic, specialist technical equipment, and complex machinery
- Repair of inverters, drives etc
The Person:
- Electrical engineering background
- Hands on Experience on drives ABB Drives & Variable Frequency Drives
- An aptitude to learn and someone who is happy to travel with work (75% of the time)
