Call Handler
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum
Location: Sunderland
Hours: 5.30am-1pm Monday to Friday, with a Saturday or Sunday once every 3 weeks in exchange for a week day.
My client is a rapidly growing FTSE-listed international organisation, who we are supporting with their exciting growth plans across a number of key areas, including a very well-established software solution aimed at the Professional Services sector, which they already deliver to 1,000+ customers across 150 countries.
As part of their continued growth, they are looking to expand their well-established team of call handlers, responsible for professionally handling communications from their broad ranging client base both in the UK & overseas.
Key Duties:
- Handle inbound calls from clients taking detailed notes of the conversation and logging on the in-house system
- This is not a high call volume environment - you will receive 8-10 calls per day that can last 20-30 mins and will work in a 'buddy' system with a colleague
- You will also return calls/follow up messages with clients
- Conduct great conversations to gather information while maintaining impartiality and confidentiality
- Understand and navigate complex organisational structures and issues
- Provide accurate and timely information to callers
- Adhere to high-quality standards and protocols
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge
The Person:
- Customer service contact centre background
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and impartiality
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex organisations and their issues
