Responsibilities:
- Arrive ready to start work in plenty of time to be in your working area
- Work to the best of your ability at all times, completing all tasks with a Right First Time, On Time, Every Time attitude
- Assist in the manufacture of window products in accordance with company process instructions
- Lift heavy components, if required
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Follow instructions and tasks provided by Team Leaders or Managers
- Work to company agreed efficiencies
- Demonstrate personal performance against agreed timings by completing necessary performance documentation
- Use machinery in the production process following procedures and training, reporting any safety issues to your Team Leader
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of machinery used
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company quality standards at all times
- Keep a clean and tidy work station/area
- Contribute to company progression by working towards company objectives
- Be flexible in approach to demands and assist in all areas of the production process
- Complete system documentation accurately and within specified time frames when required
- Perform any assignments outside of normal working hours as reasonably requested
Essential Requirements:
- Industry experience in window fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to lift heavy components when necessary
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Additional qualifications or certifications in window fabrication or related field
- Experience with specific window fabrication technologies or machinery
Hours and Pay:
- Monday to Thursday 6am -230pm (break at 9am and lunch at 12pm)
- Friday 6am -2pm (break at 9am and lunch at 12pm)
- Working a total of 38.25 hours per week
- Rate starts at £11.44 per hour but can be negotiable depending on level of relevant experience
