Project Manager required for a designer and manufacturer of plasterwork based in the Sutton area. The successful candidate will be managing site teams / resources across various projects. The role will be a client facing role and you will need to understand client drawings and requirements. You will have previous experience in construction / engineering and experience in a related sector (plasterwork, ceilings, dry lining, joinery, contracting, etc.)

Position Overview
- Ensuring that works are carried out to a high-quality standard and within programme
- Managing site teams / resources across various projects to ensure works are delivered on time
- Commercial management of projects
- Client facing, ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Reading and understanding the client's drawings and programme, preparing the sub-programme to meet these requirements or identify issues
- Calling off materials from workshop for delivery to site as required
- Ensuring works are carried out safely and that our work areas are tidy
- Writing method statements and risk assessments as required
- The PM takes the project from order to final account

Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience of construction, ideally (but not essential) in our sector or a related interiors industry sector (e.g. Ceilings, dry-lining, joinery, contracting etc)
- Commercial acumen
- Computer literate, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Pro-active, can-do attitude. Desire to learn and improve
- Knowledge of preparing and reading drawings and programmes of works

Position Remuneration
- Salary- Circa £40,000
- You will work on a wide and interesting range of projects including luxury residences, royal palaces and hotels
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
