Facilities Manager

Our client is looking to add an experienced Facilities Manager to their existing team on a permanent basis.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the excellence of our infrastructure, including buildings, grounds and equipment. Ensure our facilities are safe, efficient and compliant. You'll be responsible for organising maintenance schedules, overseeing facility staff and contractors, and ensuring all sites meet the highest standards of health and safety. Engage with tenants regularly to ensure their needs are met and our facilities remain top-notch.

Main Duties:

  • Organising and devising key operational services, including maintenance, groundskeeping, cleaning, and rubbish disposal.
  • Ensuring that buildings and facilities comply with the necessary health and safety standards and building regulations.
  • Overseeing and confirming that tasks assigned to employees and contractors are fulfilled to a satisfactory standard.
  • Utilising performance management systems to track employee performance, establish acceptable service levels, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reacting promptly to emergencies and breakdowns as they occur and handling them effectively.
  • Managing insurance policies and service agreements.
  • Conducting financial oversight.
