Position Title: Communications Assistant

Position Overview:
The role involves ensuring that all communication materials are consistent with the company's branding and messaging strategies. It is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is creative and has strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:

Assist in creating, editing, and proofreading content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and other marketing materials

Collaborate with team members to develop content for digital platforms (social media, website, email campaigns)

Create and maintain content calendars for various communication channels
- Social Media Management:

Support the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content

Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages

Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights
- Media Relations:

- Assist in drafting press releases and media advisories

Help build and maintain relationships with media contacts by updating media lists and coordinating outreach
- Internal Communications:

Support internal communication initiatives by drafting internal newsletters, emails, and memos

Assist in organizing and promoting internal events, meetings, and activities
- Research and Reporting:

Conduct research on communication trends, competitor activities, and media outlets

Gather data and prepare reports on the effectiveness of communication campaigns
Key Qualifications:

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)

Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (preferred but not required).
