A manufacturer of high-precision components sold into the automotive industry is now seeking a CNC Process Engineer to join their Process Team. Supplying into OEMs globally, this business is experiencing a period of growth, so they are looking to bolster their already large engineering team. The main objective is to refine processes and improve quality and safety within the department
Process Engineer duties include:
- Responsible for generating operating programs for new CNC machining centres
- Resolving quality issues on the facility generated by the manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for conducting risk assessments on equipment
- Responsible for safety issues on the equipment.
- Identifying and implementing tooling improvements
- Planning activities relating to implementation of new equipment, process or changes to existing equipment and processes
- Work in compliance and conform to IATF16949 and ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards and all health & safety procedures
The ideal candidate will be experienced working within CNC Programming / Operating. They must have a strong understanding of technical drawings and drawing symbols. Applicants must also have knowledge of quality tools for fault diagnosis and analysis of route cause.
