Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance team as a Part-Time Accounts Assistant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounting department, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Process invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare and process expense claims
- Assist with general ledger tasks
- Provide support for accounts payable and receivable functions
- Ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Experience:
- Previous experience of Xero or similar software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Credit control experience
- Knowledge of payroll
- VAT treatment / bank reconciliation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
