As a rapidly growing company and following an internal promotion, we are seeking a dynamic Head of Financial Accounting & Reporting to join our finance team and contribute to our mission.

The Head of Financial Accounting & Reporting will provide expertise to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial records.

This role is responsible for establishing and overseeing robust financial controls, managing the general ledger, and driving enhancements in financial systems (specifically Microsoft Business Central) to support our rapid growth and operational excellence.

You will also be responsible for all external company reporting and tax compliance. The position is key in delivering insights to inform strategic decisions and in supporting the financial integrity of the business.

Person Specification

  • Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in financial accounting, tax, and systems management.

  • Experience

  • Extensive experience in financial accounting, tax compliance, intercompany transactions, and financial systems, ideally within a high-growth or fast-paced environment.

  • Proven track record in financial reporting, managing audits, and implementing robust financial controls.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis with at least 50% of time spent in the Bedford office.
