Hybrid - Limerick (12 month FTC)

About you:

As the Learning & Development Specialist at SHR you will be a key ambassador in delivering on the culture of upskilling and continuous development within SHR Group. You are adept at fostering excellent communication and maintaining positive relationships while driving improvement initiatives both internally and with customers.

You will be liaising across the business to identify and prioritize training requirements and curate qualified learning and development activities for the full SHR product suite. The key responsibility in this area is to drive organisational effectiveness through supporting and building workforce capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop blended learning solutions for SHR Group customers to ensure that all external training support needs are met. Identifying both learning gaps and priorities across the organisation and deliver flexible and innovative learning programmes in line with same.
  • Work within the Springboard training program and be a main point of contact for customers during the training phase of onboarding.??Develop client trust in the early stage of their SHR Group journey leading and guiding them through the post go-live journey.?
  • Support and collaborate with other departments in the preparation of employee training/onboarding plans and the optimum delivery of content.
  • Support the initial roll-out of new programmes and continuous improvement projects. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of learning programmes.
  • Be fully proficient on the LearnUpon LMS platform?and engage with the LearnUpon team to troubleshoot and improve processes.
  • Provide input into the co-ordination and management of L&D engagement and change initiatives across the company as required _Ensuring learning and development initiatives are communicated in a consistent way to internal and external stakeholders.

Your skills and experience include:

  • Hospitality experience is a distinct advantage (experience in reservations, operations, distribution).
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions.
  • Confidence in delivery with excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organisation and the ability to prioritize requests, implement and communicate timely solutions.
  • Experience in the planning of training and development within an organisation, including training needs analysis, training facilitation and presentation.
  • Knowledge of hospitality distribution (GDS, OTAs, Channel Management, PMS, CRM, RMS).
  • High degree of computer literacy, specifically competence in the use of MS Office Applications, Salesforce, and Learning Management Systems.
