Internal Recruiter
- Job Type: Part-time, Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
- Location: Sherfield-on-Loddon
- Salary: £12.16 - £13.11 per hour
- Working hours: 4 days a week 08:30 – 16:30 (Mondays are a must!)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Recruiter to join a small and friendly HR team. My client is seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual with recruitment and administrative experience who is passionate about making a difference.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the response from direct recruitment adverts, including managing the recruitment email inbox.
- Contact suitable candidates to discuss roles and the recruitment process.
- Meet and greet interviewees and facilitate the interview processes, conducting interviews when necessary for a variety of roles.
- Liaise with external recruiters, local colleges, universities, and career events.
- Undertake HR recruitment and on-boarding administration, including creating, writing, and placing job adverts.
- Conduct pre-employment checks such as sending and chasing references, undertaking DBS checks, and Right to Work checks.
- Prepare contracts of employment and associated documentation.
- Create all ID badges.
- Contribute to the creation of monthly recruitment reports.
- Support the HR team and participate in Safer Recruitment training.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in recruitment or administrative roles.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with candidates.
- Ability to undertake and manage detailed administrative tasks.
- Must have a right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
