Solutions Architect IT (Financial services)

I am recruiting for an IT solutions architect to work for a financial services client. This role will involve a large data technology transformation project at scale. This piece of work will involve moving information of data from on prem to the cloud

Experience

  • Experience of solution designing, architecture end to end, creating designs etc.
  • Any experience of a range of technologies including, Messaging & Middleware, Microservices, Cloud and Data Streaming
  • Cloud technology experience such as Azure, AWS etc.
  • Any experience of big data, moving data from on prem to cloud technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business and stakeholders
  • Digital delivery in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Strong planning, problem solving skills
  • Experience of regulated environments
  • Any experience in the following areas: Financial Fraud, Debit & Credit Cards, Payments (FPS, SWIFT, CHAPS, BACS); Core banking processing, Treasury Systems
  • Payments / Banking / Financial services is a must

This role will be mostly remote with some travel to the office when required for meetings. This is a contract role starting in January 2025 (for six months) inside IR35 paying between £575pd - £625pd through an umbrella company.
