This dynamic practice has earnt themselves an excellent reputation being specialists within the industrial and data centre projects. My client works alongside many longstanding high profile private and public sector clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architectural Technician to gain experience on large complex projects, within a collaborative practice who offer excellent career and professional development. They are actively seeking a talented and highly focused Architectural Technician to join their close-knit team in Birmingham.
The successful Architectural Technician will have substantial post qualification experience working on industrial or similar projects and be a confident user AutoCAD.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:
- Working towards Chartership with CIAT or already Chartered
- Degree or HND/ HNC in Architectural Technology or relevant qualification
- Extensive post qualification experience in a UK architectural practice
- Experience in the industrial sector is essential
- Strong technical abilities
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and other industry standard software
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ideally experience running your own projects
- Keen eye for detail and able to produce technical drawings to a high standard
- Proactive approach to professional development
- In depth knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Live locally to Birmingham area
