Jackson Barnes Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading international media and events business to recruit a Senior Conference Producer in their London office.
As a Senior Conference Producer, you will lead production for a portfolio of niche finance related European and international events. You will undertake independent research to create innovative agendas, recruit interesting and diverse speakers, and produce and deliver high quality content that engages the community.
What will the Senior Conference Producer be doing?
- Research and analyse the latest trends
- Develop content-led events programmes
- Recruit a range of diverse and interesting speakers
- Overseeing the sales, marketing, and logistics teams delivering each event during regular project meetings
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Work within agreed timelines and meet deadlines
- Contribute to the production strategy days where the team work together to share new ideas and develop their skills
- Work with sales and data teams to identify new commercial opportunities and promote broader group products
- Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with key industry professionals
- Research and write content products such as interviews, podcasts, and journalism pieces
Your Background
- For this position, we're looking for an experienced conference producer who can hit the ground running. We welcome applications from commercial B2B conference producers who have produced in-person events from start to finish.
- International event experience would be advantageous
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- A positive and enthusiastic team player who is enthused to lead an events team in delivering content and events from start to finish
- Interested and enthusiastic to immerse yourself into new industries and become a leading expert
- Enthused to establish relationships within the industry by engaging with clients over the phone, Zoom, or in-person meetings
- Be quality focused in all you do
- Having an interest in finance and the economy would be great!
