HSEQ Advisor 6 Month FTC

HSE Recruitment are proud to be working with an engineering business, who are looking for a HSEQ Advisor on an 6 month fixed term contract who can start immediately.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK although a central location, would be ideal as you may be supporting field-based activities anywhere in the UK. Outside of this, you have full flexibility to work from home and/or from one of the UK Offices.

You will report into the Head of HSE and be part of a team of advisors, who will make sure you have the support and guidance to get up to speed quickly. This role will support a particular area of the business covering someone who is off. You will providing advice to stakeholders across the business, supporting and conducting planned audits, be available to deal with any questions or queries that might come up. It will be a broad supporting role across the business, being on hand to take tasks off the safety team to free up their time to focus on other areas.

The person-

  • Minimum of NEBOSH Certificate with a good couple of years' experience as an advisor.
  • Any lead auditor qualification or experience ISO systems experience
  • Experience within engineering or multidiscipline workforces.
  • Capable of producing dynamic risk assessments.
  • Someone who is confident to get on with the job, is organised and thorough, who can get up to speed quickly.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workload but be adaptable to meet tight project deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Someone with a can do attitude, good collaborator and communication skills.
  • Able to build relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, including keeping others up to date with progress.

The salary in offer is £30-45,000 depending on experience.
