Job Title: CNC Setter and Programmer

Pay Rate: Starting salary £40k + DOE

gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting for CNC Setter/Programmer, with good knowledge and experience working on machinery up to and including 5axis and using HAAS or FANUC.
Successful candidate must demonstrate good knowledge of setting and being able to program using coding book, amend and adjust the program.
Main Duties as CNC Setter and Programmer
- Operate factory machines that turn raw materials into functional objects.
- Reading and interpreting design blueprints
- Programming the CNC machine, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met
- Develop programs to control machining or processing of metal or plastic parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings to perform required task
- Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency
- Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday 15:30pm - 02:00am ( Thursday early finish at midnight )
Salary
- Starting salary is £40k +, it is dependable on experience as may be higher
The above role is on permanent basis, 2 stages interview may be required for the position.
