Equifind have teamed up with a market leading investment management firm in London, who are looking for a management accountant to join the ranks, for the next year.
You'll be joining a small finance team to lend a hand with all thing's month end and reporting. You'll get some great exposure to an international business and be expected to pick things up quickly.
Guidance, support, and collaboration will be there, but you need to be happy to be working on your own accord, at times.
Key duties and responsibilities for this management accountant position include but aren't limited to:
- Production of several standalone entity management accounts
- Posting of journals for month end procedures; including accruals, prepayments, deferred income, interest recognition
- Assistance with the year end audit of multiple entities
- Regular reconciliation of intercompany balances
- Maintenance and monitoring of staff expenses system
- Ownership of sales invoices processing
- Bank reconciliations and cash posting
- Provide support and cover for the accounts payable function
- Production of statutory financial statements
- Production of VAT reconciliations and returns
- Ad hoc projects as and when requested by senior management
Experience & Qualification
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) NQ-2 years'PQE
- Experience of the private equity or investment management
- Experience of legal entity reporting would be a plus
- Exposure to group accounting would be beneficial
- Can work independently and in a timely fashion
- Real team player and can work well with stakeholders across offices

An established investment management firm in central London, who have enjoyed considerable growth over the past 10 years. The business focuses on multiple investment strategies all across the globe and has deployed over £5bAUM across the years.
The organisation has around 40 employees in the London office, so you will be joining an established finance team. The business operates mostly from the office so you will be required to be office-based most of the time. Flexibility will be granted as and when needed.

Rate/Salary
This exciting opportunity for a management accountant will pay between £55k to £65k per annum, depending on your industry experience.
This assignment is earmarked to be for a minimum of twelve months and has the potential to go permanent.
