Assistant Accountant | Professional Services | London/Hybrid | £35,000 - £45,000 pro rata
My client, a major player in the professional services sector, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to assist the team with day-to-day tasks and responsibilities on an initial 9 month contract, with an opportunity to go permanent.
In this role, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end and e-billing
- Providing support to the finance team, including the annual audit
- Invoice recording, account reconciliations and queries
- Support the Revenue Controller with daily AR tasks
- Support the Overheads accountant with managing Overhead suppliers
- Responsible for supplier accounts/statements
- Assist Credit Control Manager with queries
Required Experience:
- Part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience in a similar role before. At least 18 months' hands-on experience desirable
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Confident speaker and a quick learner
