Salary:£32,000-£35,000 DOE + Car Allowance £5,000 (Pro rata)

As a People Advisor on a 9-month fixed-term contract, you will play a crucial role in supporting our managers and colleagues by providing expert HR advice and guidance. With a strong focus on Employee Relations (ER), you will be the go-to person for non-transactional HR matters, ensuring that our people strategies align with business objectives during this maternity cover period
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage Employee Relations cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Provide coaching and HR advice to managers on performance management, recruitment, and HR policies
- Support absence management, including long-term sickness cases, with Occupational Health as needed
- Deliver accurate people management information (MI) to support business decisions
- Advise on organisational restructuring and redundancy processes
- Collaborate with People Services to enhance colleague experience and manage cyclical activities
- Undertake People projects and support cross-functional HR initiatives
ABOUT YOU
- CIPD Level 5 Preferred
- Experience in managing complex Employee Relations cases
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- High attention to detail, with strong organisational and planning abilities
- Proactive, commercially-minded, and able to resolve business issues with pace
