Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £12 - £14 per hour
Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off (7am - 10pm)

Our client is seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join their team at a 2-bedded service in Wolverhampton. The service provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people with learning disabilities, helping them to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing environment within the residential setting.
  • Support the physical, emotional, and social development of the children and young people in your care.
  • Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the children and young people in your care.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
