Due to continued business success and growth plans, this exciting brand are looking to increase multiple sites across the country, including their dynamic office in Southampton.

About The Role
As part of this exciting Sales Consultant opportunity, you will reach out to warm leads with the objective of offering a range of suitable insurance products. As a leading life insurance broker with unrivalled access to the market, you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, a resilient attitude and to remain compliant at all times. You will work 9 days a fortnight, with a 3-day weekend every other week (Mon: 10am – 7:30pm, Tues - Fri: 9am – 6:30pm) and 1 Saturday in 6 (9am – 4pm).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver good customer outcomes that are consistent with Consumer Duty.
- Maximise the potential of every lead received and overcome objections.
- Conduct comprehensive questioning with each client, ensuring the correct product is presented.
- Consistently maintain a high standard of compliance.
- Effectively manage a pipeline of business.
- Communicate clearly and professionally to the customers.
- Work towards and ultimately achieve the targets set by the line manager.
- By utilising the calling technology, reach a minimum of 4 hours call requirement per day.
- Be polite and respectfully represent the business.
- Work towards personal goals and ambitions set in 1-2-1 meetings.
- Be punctual and respectful of other employees.
Salary & Benefits
- £30,000 basic with OTE (realistic £45,000 in year one but many people achieve a lot more).
- 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays – rising to 25 days with length of service.
- 9 day fortnight – three day weekend, every other week.

Essential Skills
- Excellent written, verbal & listening communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to build rapport effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Experience of influencing and persuading to successfully handle objectives.
- Proven ability to fact find in detail to ensure the customer needs are fully established and met.
- Demonstrable success in closing sales whilst adhering to a sales process.
- Accuracy & attention to detail.
- Basic IT ability.
- Sales Processes.
- Insurance knowledge (desirable).
Essential Experience
- Experience of working successfully in a fast paced, targeted and regulated telephone sales B2C environment.
- Previously worked and enjoyed success in a well-managed, buzzing and organised sales environment.
- Team player with the ability to achieve individual success.
- Demonstrable success in a high volume-based telephone sales role following a structured sales process.
- Proven experience of consultative sales processes.
Desirable Experience
- Insurance or financial service sales
- Confident to follow up on warm leads
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
