SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, working in Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to supporting students with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support student development.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with SEN in an educational or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and PDA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
