An international bank marking its significant footprint in the London market, Our client positioned in the heart of the city, are now inviting a dynamic and skilled Operations Associate who is fluent in mandarin to join their Treasury Markets and Commodities team.

The role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities within the Treasury and Markets Operations function, along with Regulatory Transaction Reporting and assorted duties within the Bank's Operations Department. The chosen candidate will gain extensive exposure to a variety of T&M products, positioning themselves at the vanguard of our client's expansion into London's bustling financial scene.

  • *Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficient handling of transaction processing across a range of instruments including FX, Money Market, FX SWAPS, and Fixed Income.
- Management of Commodities, Commodity Derivatives, and Precious Metals processes, including Custody Management.
- In-depth involvement with Derivatives (IRS, FX Options, Futures), including but not limited to processing and settlements.
- Proficient in Bonds processing across various platforms and understanding of Bond connect via Clearstream, Euroclear.
- Execution of FX Netting and processing client trade confirmations.
- Managing Collateral/Margin calls and London Clearing House IRS daily settlements.
- Oversight of Regulatory Reporting - preparation, verification, and submission under the guidance of the T&M manager, covering MIFID2, SFTR, and EMIR requirements.
- Ensuring efficient Nostro Management, Position Keeping, and Payments operations related to Treasury & Markets (Bank to Bank and Corporate).

  • *Skills and Experience Required**:

- 2-3 years of experience in Treasury & Markets Back Office roles, with hands-on operational skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of transaction processing.
- Proficiency in Regulatory Reporting with knowledge of MIFID2, SFTR, and EMIR.
- High level of computer literacy, especially MS Office, and experience in system input and transaction verification/approval.
- A strong commitment to accuracy and a willingness to learn and cross-train across Operations Department.
- Confident team player capable of independent project management, demonstrating initiative and cooperation with both branch and Head Office teams.
- Fluent in Mandarin ( essential) to facilitate effective communication with our international teams.
