The Opportunity

QBE Europe is currently recruiting for a Level 2 Onsite Support Engineer to join a dynamic IT team at QBE as an Onsite Support Engineer in our London office. We are seeking a motivated Level 2 IT support professional to deliver expert technical assistance at our London headquarters and to our remote workforce. Your responsibilities will include delivering hands-on technical support, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

Your New Role

  • Handling a variety of incidents and requests, ensuring prompt responses for timely resolution and service delivery.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, and manage the setup, maintenance, and upgrading of computer systems.
  • Provide IT support for projects such as technical rollouts, office moves, and upgrades.
  • Maintaining accurate records by documenting support issues and their resolutions.
  • Sharing customer feedback with managers and other IT team members.
  • Technical ability to support 1st line engineers.

About You

  • Experience within IT, and proven troubleshooting expertise, whilst using Dell, Microsoft Surface, and Apple hardware.
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft O365 Suite.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrate drive and adeptness in self-management, with a strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM and Microsoft Intune
