An award winning law firm are now seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join their market-leading department. The successful candidate will assist with a caseload of defendant clinical negligence work, providing essential support to an experienced legal team.
The Role:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of preliminary claims;
- Support solicitors with casework;
- Obtain and review medical records, instruct experts, and advise clients on liability issues;
- Prepare court documents, liaise with witnesses and experts, organise and attend conferences, and settlement meetings;
- Conduct legal research to support case progression;
What the firm would love to see:
- Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally in clinical negligence.
- Strong research, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Legal qualifications (LLB, LPC) preferred.
