Summary of role
To support the Data Reporting team and wider business with the day to day BI requirements and to provide support developing current/new BI output using Power BI, Azure, SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Power Platform
Responsibilities
- Analyse complex datasets to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Create and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and visualisations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and commercial, operational and financial metrics.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by adhering to robust data validation and quality control processes as defined by the Data and Insights Reporting Manager.
- Present data insights and recommendations to staff and stakeholders, including the Data and Insights Reporting Manager in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in delivering data-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Certified Data/BI related qualifications.
- Experience of using Microsoft Power BI and DAX to connect to data sources, transform data and publish refreshable reports.
- Experience of Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps or alternative data integration tools.
- Experience of working in a BI Team in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Experience of using MYSQL along with advance Microsoft Excel skills to include Macros, Complex formulae, Power Pivot, linking to external data sources.
