Rate: £17 umbrella an hour
Job Description
Slough Borough Council are seeking a highly motivated DOLS Referral Officer to join their Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team (DoLS) in Slough Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the service day to day, supporting the DoLS services improvement and development.
As a DOLS Referral Officer, you will:
- Be part of a newly formed, highly motivated team who are very supportive of each other
- Work full-time, with two days in Slough Offices
- Have an exciting opportunity to develop your career in DoLS services
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage referrals for the DoLS team
- Manage and maintain accurate records in line with departmental procedures
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide support to the DoLS team in the day-to-day running of the service
- Contribute to the development of the DoLS service
Requirements
- 5 GCSE Level A*-C to include English, or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience of providing information and advice to the public and/or customers
- Experience within a similar role
