Job Title: Mechanical Engineering lecturer
Position: Full time 37 hours pw Mon-Fri
Role type: ?Temporary 3 month contract, permanent post possible
Location: South Tyneside, Jarrow.
Rate: £185- £230 a day, dependant on experience levels and qualifications
The Role
- Working with students aged 16-19 years old in a College environment, delivering Mechanical Engineering level 1 to level 3
- This role mainly focuses around the STEM subject in Engineering, but other areas you will be delivering will be Mechanical Engineering principles and Health and Safety
- This role is delivering lessons in both the workshop environment with machinery, but also delivering classroom based learning on theory subjects
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have the following skills and qualifications, or be willing to work towards:
- Experience delivering Mechanical engineering lessons/training is essential for this role
- A minimum City and Guilds level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
- A good communicator, and above all else be a kind and resilient person.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one via Reed.
