Accounts Payable Clerk

What you'll do:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry within Purchase Ledger
- Efficiently allocate complex invoices to appropriate cost centres
- Obtain suitable payment authorisation for all expenditure items
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve account queries promptly
- Prepare supplier payment runs and submit for approval
- Process personal expense claims in line with company policy
- Provide support to Management Accounts co-members as required
- Maintain housekeeping procedures within Purchase Ledger
What you bring:
- Proven ability to accurately process high volumes of transactions in a purchase ledger environment
- Track record of supplier statement reconciliation and resolution of queries
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritise workload in a high volume environment
- Good excel knowledge with ability to produce and maintain spreadsheets
- Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive
