We are proud to be working with independent day special educational needs school for children and young people with SpLD and associated challenges.

The school are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of teaching students with additional needs and experience of preparing learners for a range of qualifications. You will be working with learners who are enthusiastic and keen to learn and a dedicated and supportive staff team. This is a very unique and nurturing school.

The role

You must be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to focus upon the progress of learners on a whole school basis. Excellent classroom management skills are essential, and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate students.

The role is to teach Creative Media, which is a mixture of different subjects specifically designed to help students prepare for life after school! Ideally you would experienced with KS3 & KS4 learners, and/or those working below national expectations in order to support them to achieve to the very best of their ability, up to and including GCSE where appropriate.
