We are on the lookout for a proactive Sales Administrator / Internal Sales Support professional to enhance our client's sales support team. This role is pivotal in increasing the company's sales through effective customer interaction, sales administration, and logistical activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and delivered promptly, introduce new product ranges, and maintain existing ones.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Process and progress sales orders
  • Following up on customer enquiries
  • Collaborate with the field sales team
  • Provide technical support to the external sales team and customers
  • Prepare quotes
  • Provide guidance on product selection.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, identify required products and new market opportunities.
  • Oversee the introduction of new product ranges, ensuring product lines are kept current and competitive.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree or higher technical qualification in engineering, science, or related subject is preferred.
  • Technical aptitude
  • Problem-solving.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent questioning, telephone, and communication skills.
  • Strong time management
  • IT skills: Word and Excel.
  • Ability to understand technical products and the technical challenges of customers.
  • Good and precise English language skills for technical business communication.
  • GCSE English & Mathematics or equivalent.
  • GCSE/A Level in Physics or similar technical related subject(s) is desirable.
