Key Responsibilities:
- Category Management: Lead the sourcing of products that meet the trends and customer expectations
- Product Selection: Stay up to date with industry trends and consumer preference to select and introduce new products that align with the companies brand
- Pricing: Develop and implement strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
- Sampling: work closely with suppliers to ensure sampling is delivered efficiently
- Training and development: Provide training to the sales team on product knowledge and market trends
- Quality control: Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards
About you:
- Experience in a similar retail space (interior retail)
- Experience in a senior fast paced buying role
- Proven track record of supplier negotiation
- Strong communication
