You will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver tailored educational activities, support individual learning needs, and help foster a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with SLD and autism.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils, focusing on individual learning and development.
- Adapt educational materials and activities to ensure accessibility for all students.
- Support students in developing social and communication skills.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with personal care needs as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SLD and autism is essential.
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
