Finance Administrator

We are seeking a meticulous and versatile Finance Administrator to join our client. This full-time, office-based role in Chorley offers the opportunity to support the Finance function within the company. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a flexible approach, and enjoy managing a varied workload.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct weekly banking and monthly reconciliation tasks.
- Manage quarterly petty cash accounts and investments.
- Assist with quarterly reports for funders and VAT returns.
- Support the preparation for statutory annual accounts, audits, and board meetings.
- Understand and work within set budgets.
- Update sickness records and manage time off for paid staff.
- Update policies and procedures and ensure accurate annual leave calculations and entries.

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience working within accounts/bookkeeping and working in finance related tasks such as banking, reconciliation and VAT returns.
