Requirements:
- Social Work England Registered
- Extensive Social Work experience
- Experience of Child Protection, Child in Need, Court Work and Section 7s
- Access to a vehicle
Our client is a local authority based in the Berkshire area, looking for experienced Social Workers to join their Children Safeguarding team that supports and enables social work staff to make a real difference for the most vulnerable.
Their recentOfsted report has been rated Outstanding. This means that 'The experiences and progress of children who need help and protection' is outstanding. Children build trusting and meaningful relationships with social workers, helped by an increasingly stable workforce
Overall, Inspectors found that social workers and other front line practitioners benefit from manageable caseloads, good training and powerful and highly reflective supervision that ensures children are at the heart of decision making.
Work from office 3 days a week and in on duty days (one week of duty a month, which works out about 2 days a month total) This allows for a better work-life balance, which can positively impact your overall well-being and mental health.
