Job Description: Our client seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our proactive Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and confident self-starter to become part of a rapidly growing company. With the support of the Sales team, Sales Director, and Projects team, you will engage with customers to interpret, develop, and enhance incoming sales leads, managing them through to proposal and subsequent sign-off.

Primary Objectives:

  • Convert leads into sales.
  • Build lasting customer relationships.
  • Understand and explain the range of products and services offered by Tecna UK.
  • Offer expert industry advice to our customers.
  • Listen to customer requirements and support them in achieving their goals.
  • Secure repeat business from existing customers.
  • Add an element of creativity and design, working collaboratively with the wider team to elevate customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that leads, opportunities, and post-sales customers are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Organise meetings with customers, both over the phone and in person, to maximise sales.
  • Interpret briefs clearly and communicate them effectively to the Projects team.
  • Keep the company CRM system up to date.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Provide management with feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Skills Required:

  • Good understanding of the exhibition industry.
  • Proven work experience and track record in sales.
  • Commercially minded and sales-focused.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office suite and standard CRM practices.
  • Great time management and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Team player.
  • Background in design and/or project management is a bonus.
